Indianapolis Printer Recognized with Three Pinnacle Awards:
Fineline and Its Customer--Pearson Partners--Receive Prestigious ‘Best of Category’ Honor

INDIANAPOLIS, IN, May 12, 2010 --- Each year the Printing Industry of Illinois and Indiana Association holds a Pinnacle Print Awards competition that recognizes outstanding craftsmanship in the creation and production of printed materials. Fineline Printing Group received three awards in three different categories: Best of Category in the Cards category, Award of Excellence in the Invitations (with four or more colors) category, and Certificate of Merit in the Business Cards category.

The Best of Category award signifies an entry is the most outstanding and the winner of its respective category. Fineline was awarded this for a holiday card designed by Pearson Partners. Lee Harmon, Production Manager for Pearson Partners, says, “Pearson Partners’ annual Christmas card serves as perhaps our most important agency marketing piece. It is always done in the spirit of the season while still placing a large importance on final presentation. With Fineline’s suggestion of a ‘touch coat’ varnish and the overall printing excellence, this year’s edition might be the best one yet.”

The Award of Excellence is given to the entry who was a finalist in its specific category. Fineline received this award for an invitation to the 2010 IZOD IndyCar Series, designed by IMS Creative Services. Ric Miller, Fineline’s Vice President of Manufacturing, explains, “This piece was fun to produce with the different varnishes, die-cuts, and hand assembly that were required. Even before we won this award, we knew we produced an exceptional piece for our client, which is our number one focus here [at Fineline].”

The Certificate of Merit is awarded to an entry that deserves acknowledgement for the piece’s quality production. Fineline was awarded this for the printing of a set of business cards designed by Miller Brooks for BC forward.
